52 Weeks Begin Now

The following blog is an account of my next 52 weeks as I embark on the adventure of re-inventing myself in a new context.  Having successfully applied for a position that takes me to the West Coast of BC, it requires me to leave everything behind and start over again.  It is not an easy prospect, but an exciting one.  Join along in my experiences as I make sense of them here on this blog.

I hope to write one essay/narrative a week over 52 weeks.  Take a peek, and pass them along as there are no secrets here.  I would love to hear any comments that you have as my ideas may resonate with you, or you may ponder things in a different way.  I am open to dialogue.  My weeks’ thoughts are indicated in the pages to the right.

Thanks, Joanne: I hope you are enjoying Vernon. Stay in touch. I imagine many of the things that I am going through, you are too, except the empty nest experience. Say hi to Aunty Gail. Love, Shelley

Shelley, it is a great idea to share your reflections on your new adventure. I have just finished reading a book Lifeworth co-authored by Erin Couillard’s father and his brother. It makes reference to moving out of your comfort zone and living life with a focus on life worth rather than net worth and the key message fits very well with what you are doing. Best wishes, Garry
